Tamoxifen retinopathy

Many women who have been treated for breast cancer take tamoxifen. Tamoxifen may cause a crystalline retinopathy. Let us know if you take tamoxifen. We will inform you if we see any crystalline deposits in the retina. Often the drug can be continued, although at a lower dose (going from 20 mg to 10 mg a day), and the retina can be monitored.
